Hannah Six is an award-winning journalist who discovered, in 2000,
that there was more to life than "just words." As she knitted her
first scarves, her passion for knitting and other fiber arts developed
into full-fledged obsession. Now a freelance writer, Hannah devotes
every possible minute to knitting, spinning, designing patterns,
and--of course--to amassing a healthy collection of knitting books.
Neighborhood Fiber Company is her dream-come-true...a business
completely devoted to yarns, patterns, and spinning, shared with a
friend who is equally passionate. Hannah lives in an airy apartment
(which she and her husband call "Vista View at the Circles") near Washington's Dupont and Logan Circles. They share their space with two
cats, a collection of more than 50 monkeys, and lots of yarn.
